The latest edition of Parkside Post, the parish magazine for St Paul's Wimbledon Parkside, is out now!  This Creationtide special issue contains news and features from around the parish.  Find out about some of the people who make St Paul's tick such as our church stalwart, Eve Speare; and discover where Revd Jack's new ministry will take him as we bid a fond farewell to our dear curate after more than 3 memorable years with us.

Our church historian Elizabeth Simon tells about the fascinating history of the parish and its energetic and public spirited benefactor, Earl Beauchamp, who gave the land for St Paul's and provided an endowment to cover the costs of a vicar's ministry.  Find out where he lived and discover the little known connection with Evelyn Waugh and his famous novel Brideshead Revisited, which had a famous TV adaptation in the 1980s.

There's also an update on the activities of our close neighbours, the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators, and their dedicated team working from the Ranger's office and stables near the Windmill.  As we celebrate Creationtide, it's appropriate to focus on the unique natural landscape of the Commons right on our doorstop.  Our vicar, Revd Susan Bolen, gives her thoughts on the meaning of Creationtide in her introduction to the magazine.
