In her introduction to this Creationtide Edition, Revd Susan reflects on how our own existence is intrinsically bound to the life of the Earth and how, if we are to thrive, we need to reflect and change our relationship with the Earth in order to nurture and care for her and ourselves. The season of Creationtide is an opportunity to reflect on that relationship and grow our understanding of it.  Details of many services and activities at St Paul's between the beginning of September and the first Sunday of October which will help us do that are given in the magazine. Do join us.

We are delighted to introduce on page 5 our new Curate at St Paul's, the Revd Jack Belloli. Jack joined us at the end of June immediately following his ordination, and he has been busy getting to know the parish, its parishioners and church members since then. If you do not know him yet, you will enjoy meeting Jack at many of our events, services and activities during Creationtide and beyond. Welcome, Revd Jack!

We have a new Wednesday Club starting on 20th September for young people in the 10 to 14 year age range. It is an after-school club run in association with Red Balloon Foundation, which will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 3.30 pm. It is free to attend. Further details including how to sign up online are on page 4 of Parkside Post.

There's an article on St Paul's participation in the Wandsworth SACRE's (Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education) Faith Trails Initiative, which is a project to help upper primary age school children expand their knowledge of different world religions, learn what it means to experience faith, and to understand how different faiths are part of the same community. On page 6 you can read about the children's visit to St Paul's as part of an itinerary including three places of worship of different faiths.

We celebrate the completion of the intricate and skilled work to restore St Paul's formerly faded reredos and chancel screen to their full glory - the result is magnificent. Read about it on page 6 of the magazine and do join us for the special Open Day we are organising on Saturday 28th October, where you can meet with the restorers, former members and friends of St Paul's and Kempe supporters to learn about the project and admire the outcome. We are just £4,000 short of our fundraising target now, so do please consider if you can help us 'get over the line'!

Also inside you will find details of all our regular activities including Messy Church and Tea & Toys.  As always there will be wonderful music at St Paul's during the coming season as we welcome Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra (WSO) for their Autumn Concert on Saturday 11th November at 7:30 pm. Details and ticket arrangements are inside.
