The latest edition of The Bridge - October 2022 (Vol 27 No. 8) is now available to read or download here. As always The Bridge is full of news stories and features from across the Diocese of Southwark. The new edition leads with a report on the Diocese of Southwark's fifteenth annual Black History Month thanksgiving Eucharist, which took place at Southwark Cathedral on 1st October. There is an article on the fortnight of art events comprising Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival, which drew an estimated 2,000 people to All Saints, Tooting. And we remember Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, reflecting on how we mourned her death and paid our respects to a much loved monarch. For many that meant spending many hours in 'the queue' that wound its way past Southwark Cathedral to Westminster Hall to see The Late Queen lying in state, described by Bishop Christopher as a 'modern day pilgrimage'.
