Church members say a big 'thank you' to Margaret Brown
Members of St Paul's showed their thanks and appreciation to Margaret Brown as she stepped down following six years as Churchwarden at the APCM 2022 held on Sunday 8th May. Margaret served two three-year terms as Churchwarden, guiding our church through a year-long interregnum and the considerable challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Margaret served under two incumbents and alongside a Curate. She was closely involved in the process of appointing our current Vicar, Revd Susan Bolen. Margaret fulfilled her duties with skill, dedication and great good humour.
She is succeeded as Churchwarden by Gill Thompson, who was confirmed in the role by a vote of church members at the APCM. Gill serves alongside Terry Woolgar, who is in the second year of his term.
