Come and join us on Saturday 28th September from 3.00 pm and find out more about the varied range of exciting activities open to you at your local church and Community Centre. Entrance is free of charge and St Paul’s is wheelchair accessible.
In the main hall of the Community Centre: Rugby Tots (3.30 – 4.00 pm), Children’s ballet (4.15 – 4.45 pm), Bingo (4.45 – 5.15 pm), Ballroom and Latin Dance (5.15 – 6.00 pm)
In the church: A programme of music including performances by St Paul’s Church Choir at 3.30 pm and Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra at 6.00 pm. There will also be a Quiet Game between 5.00 and 7.00 pm. Visit our prayer stations celebrating the season of Creationtide and exploring our relationship with the natural world. Meet with church members who can provide information on the architecture and rich history of this beautiful church.
Children’s activities will be available throughout the afternoon and there will be a bouncy castle in the Community Centre garden (3.00 – 6.00 pm). Bug Hotel creation will be happening at the Augustus Road entrance to the church all afternoon until 7.00 pm.
Relax and enjoy tea and cakes in the Lounge between 3.00 and 5.00 pm. Don’t miss our BBQ in the Memorial Garden from 5.00 pm, with Pimms and non-alcoholic punch as well as delicious ice creams!
An opportunity to meet with activity and group organisers
As well as all the above experiences, you will have the opportunity to visit the dedicated stalls and meet the organisers of the following groups and activities on offer at St Paul’s: Yoga, Reiki, 11+ Tutor Group, Choral Singing, Little Grey Cells (Alzheimer’s Support) and Memories Group, Lunch Club.
